Returns

Can I return my order?

Sure you can! In fact we have a 30-Day Change of Mind Guarantee

If you're looking to change sizes, we also restock items at no additional charge. So order away!

Things to note:

  1. Must be returned within 30 days of purchase 
  2. Must be in original condition with all tags attached
  3. Not have been worn, soiled, washed or altered in any way

Can I get a refund on sale stock?

If you've purchased something on sale or with a discount code we will happily exchange the item or provide you with store credit to be used on anything else in the store. Unfortunately as a small business we can't do full refunds on sale stock.

How do I return my order?

  1. Email us at info@flexilexi.com.au with your order number and items you want to return
  2. Send the packed items to the Sydney address we'll provide you (you can reuse the mailer bags we sent you but return postage is at your own cost)
  3. Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item.
  4. Once your return is approved, we will process the refund using the original payment method. Credit Card refunds must be processed against the original card details (the exact card used to make the original purchase).

*Please note all returns are sent back to our warehouse in Sydney, New South Wales.

Sustainability and Ethics

What makes Flexi Lexi Sustainable?

We love answering this one! Flexi Lexi is based on sustainable business practices and our activewear is made from sustainable sources of material.

Sustainable Materials: Each Flexi Lexi Womens Set contains 35 plastic bottles that we've meticulously cleaned, woven into yarn which makes up around 73%-90% of the final product you get. The rest of the fabric is made from spandex which is what makes it super stretchy and flexi-ble. Children sets have the equivalent of 10 plastic bottles (they are minis after all!)

Sustainable Practices: From shipping orders in 100% home compostable mailer bags (which are designed to be reused for returns/other shipments), partnering with senders like Sendle and Australia Post who offset their carbon emissions, we ship orders locally from Australia to your doorstep in the most eco-friendly way possible

Sustainability Impact: Each year your purchases prevent over 35,000 of plastic bottles from ending up in oceans or landfills. Instead our process gives values to these recycled material to make long-lasting and mood lifting activewear and accessories.

How does Flexi Lexi differ from other sustainable brands?

If we're going based on quantitative measurements, our tops contain the equivalent of 10 plastic bottles while our leggings have around 25 plastic bottles. This means each set removes at least 35 plastic bottles from polluting our Earth and into high functioning activewear instead.

We don't need to make direct comparisons, each brand does their bit to help our Earth (and we're thankful) but we can say that not many brands convert this amount of plastic recyclables in their products.

If it's made from recycled material, does that mean it isn't as good?

Absolutely not!

The biggest difference is that instead of using up raw materials such as petroleum to make new plastic, we are repurposing already made plastic. We are scrutinise over each and every post consumer plastic recyclable that comes into our production, so only the best quality get converted into our signature activewear.

By using recycled material, we add value to these recyclables which means recycling companies are more motivated to recycle more and clean up the plastic pollution in our system.

What Ethical Working Conditions do you practice?

Not only do we give our delightful seamstress and production staff more than the national standard when it comes to salaries, we also physically visit these buildings ourself pretty often to make sure it's up to out high standards.

What is Flexi Lexi's Sustanability Mission?

We want to make sustainable activewear the new standard. It's just as good if not so much better than current fast fashion options. We don't stop there, we also want to bring joy and family fun to exercise sessions so we always make our activewear fun and comfy for all occasions.

Shipping and Delivery

How do I check/make changes to my order/delivery address?

As soon as you placed an order via our website, you will receive a confirmation email. This is system generated. Please check this confirmation email and contact us via our contact form or email info@flexilexi.com.au immediately if there are errors or changes that need to be made.

For all orders that are returned due to an incorrect address, you will be charged a fee of $20 for repacking and postage.If your package is going to a workplace, please include the business name so that it arrives promptly.

(Australia) How can I qualify for free shipping? 

Free shipping on all orders to Australian Addresses over $100

Flexi Lexi Australia prides ourselves in providing exceptional service to you - every time. We ensure all orders are dispatched within 1 business day from our warehouse in Seaforth, NSW. We also make sure our customer’s order doesn’t get lost anywhere during the delivery with Tracking and a Signature on Delivery services.

(Australia) How much does postage cost?

$9.90 Flat rate within Australia for any orders under $100

We offer a flat rate shipping with signature on delivery from $9.90. We use Australia Post as our main courier. Their average delivery times for parcels from time of dispatch are below:

  • Sydney / ACT : 1 – 2 days
  • NSW other than Sydney: 2 – 3 days
  • Melbourne: 2 – 3 days
  • VIC other than Melbourne: 2 – 3 days
  • South East QLD: 2 – 3 days
  • QLD other than South East: 2 – 4 days
  • Adelaide: 2 – 3 days
  • SA other than Adelaide: 3 – 4 days
  • Perth: 4 – 6 days
  • WA other than Perth: 5 – 7 days
  • NT: 5 – 7 days
  • Tasmania: 5 – 7 days

We also offer Express post with Signature on Delivery from $12.90. AusPost Express Post offers next business day delivery within Express post delivery network and fastest possible delivery for other areas. We will dispatch your order the next day as long as we receive your order and payment before 9 PM AEST time (excluding weekends and public holidays).If nobody is at the recipient address when Australia Post arrives, they will leave a card advising the nearest post office to collect your parcel.

(USA) How much does postage cost?

All states within the USA - express courier service

Flexi Lexi uses Australia Post for express international orders to all states within the USA, charged at a flat rate of $35 AUD per order. Auspost Express is a door-to-door courier service and can be expected to take 3-5 days business days from the point of dispatch. Please note that orders received after 2:00 pm Sydney time will be dispatched the following business day, Monday to Friday.

(USA) How can I qualify for free shipping?

FREE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING is available on all international orders over $200 AUD. To qualify for free shipping the order price must be $200 AUD AFTER discounts have been applied.

(International) How much does postage cost?

International shipping fee is calculated automatically at checkout depending on the country of recipient. The fee includes AusPost Signature on Delivery and Extra Cover Services for lost/damage. You will find 2 international parcel delivery options at checkout.

  • AusPost International EXPRESS (With Tracking): The estimate delivery time is 4 business days.
  • AusPost International STANDARD (With Tracking): The estimate delivery time is 8 business days.

International shipments may be subject to the imposition of customs or import duties once they reach their destination. Flexi Lexi Australia doesn’t charge any custom duty on international shipment so customer will be liable for all of these duties and it is their sole responsibility to pay the charges to release the goods from the shipment. We are legally required to declare the full value of the shipment and will provide an invoice to customs should they require it. We are unable to estimate these exact charges so we recommend customer to contact their local customs office to ascertain the duties imposed.

(International) Are there custom and duty charges?

Deliveries to countries outside Australia might incur customs or import taxes. Unfortunately, since we don’t have any control over these charges, we can’t cover them for you.

Christmas Deliveries

We have stock readily available so you can be assured you will receive your item in time for Christmas. Due to the busy Christmas period the delivery may be a little later than usual. We are taking Christmas orders up until 19th December.
